All new officials must register on our assigning program, www.reftown.com.  You will register as an "official" under our organization "THSBOA-HCBO".  This is where games are assigned and how we communicate with our membership via mass e-mail.  Our training program is very important for new officials and officials with 3 or less years of experience.  We expect you to come out and be part of the what we consider the "Best Training Program in the State of Texas".  The THSBOA HCBO Board and Training Committee is busy planning and preparing for the start of our fall training classes and is excited about getting started on September 4th.

The Houston Chapter Basketball Officials has one of the best training programs in the State of Texas.  We are excited about our upcoming 2019 fall training classes and look forward to all of our members being involved.  New members, we need you in attendance at all our training classes.  We do understand that other circumstances may prevent you from being at every class but we encourage you to attend all the classes you are able to.  The same holds true for our second, third, and fourth year officials.  We need you also to attend as many classes as possible.  Returning members with four or more years of experience, we do have "returning member" clinics set up for you but we also need you involved to contribute and help mentor our younger officials.  We have all been where they are so we want to make sure they feel WELCOMED and COMFORTABLE as they prepare for the '19-'20 basketball season.  If you have any questions about training, please contact Ross Cullins (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).  Please remember training classes will start at 6:30pm.   For more information, please call the Houston Chapter Basketball Officials at 832-462-5079.
